On this day 18th June Australian cricketing all-rounder Gary Gilmore took 6-14 in the World Cup semi-final at Headingly to leave England reeling at 7-37 for. Chasing 93, the Australians were 39 for 6 before Gilmore’s run-a-ball sealed a famous victory.
